About the event
Join the University of Maryland Alumni Association and the Student Alumni Leadership Council (SALC) for a unique, educational and fun evening. Together, we will learn the basics of networking, share some spooky networking stories, and end the night with a fun-filled networking activity.
As part of the program, we’re creating space for attendees to share personal networking “nightmares” that didn’t go as planned (think: the awkward introduction or the freezing after being asked “so tell me about yourself”). Bring your best (worst?) networking nightmare to share with the group.
Fair warning: Keep your networking nightmares lighthearted and PG, leave out names of people or companies, and remember sharing is always optional.
