About the event
Beyond the Professoriate, an e-learning platform available to all UMD doctoral students and postdocs, is hosting a series of live events throughout the fall semester. From December 7 through December 10, they will be hosting a special workshop series, called How to Decide Between an Academic and Nonacademic Career (Register HERE).
On Monday, December 7, the Graduate School will be hosting a kick-off event for the series. We will be watching the prerecorded session on how to decide and what you will need to consider at 11 AM, and then watching the session on how to identify your values at 12 PM. We will then provide lunch and have time for discussion!
